Background

I come from a humble background, and my journey to becoming an IAS officer was not an easy one. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the world of politics and governance, and I knew that I wanted to make a difference in society. I pursued a degree in Anthropology, which gave me a deep understanding of human societies and cultures.

Study Plan

My study plan was quite rigorous, and I had to juggle between my job and studies. I used to wake up early in the morning, study for a few hours, and then head to work. In the evening, I would study again for a few more hours. I also used to take online classes and attend coaching classes to supplement my learning.

  • I used to make notes and summarize the key points in a notebook.
  • I used to practice writing essays and answers to mock questions.
  • I used to analyze my mistakes and try to improve my performance.

Challenges

The biggest challenge I faced was balancing my job and studies. It was tough to manage my time and prioritize my tasks. I also faced a lot of self-doubt and fear of failure, but I tried to stay motivated and focused.

Strategies

My strategy was to focus on building a strong foundation in all the subjects. I used to read a lot of books and articles, and I also used to take online classes and attend coaching classes. I also used to practice writing essays and answers to mock questions.

The interview experience was quite challenging, but it was also a great opportunity to showcase my skills and knowledge. I was asked a lot of questions related to current affairs, history, and geography, and I tried to answer them to the best of my ability.
