Background\n\nGrowing up in Buxar, Bihar, I was always fascinated by the world of governance and public service. My father, a Head Constable in the RPF, would often share stories about his experiences and the impact he had on people's lives. This sparked a desire in me to make a difference and serve the nation.\n\n### Study Plan\n\nI started preparing for the UPSC CSE in my second year of college. I joined IASbaba's Gurukul program, which provided me with a structured study plan and access to quality study materials. I focused on building a strong foundation in General Studies and opted for Anthropology as my optional subject.\n\n- Develop a study plan: Create a schedule that suits your learning style and goals.

• Choose the right optional: Select a subject that interests you and has a good demand in the market.
• Join a good coaching institute: Look for institutes that provide quality study materials and a supportive environment.

Challenges\n\nPreparing for the UPSC CSE was not easy. I faced several challenges, including a lack of motivation, difficulty in understanding complex concepts, and managing my time effectively. However, I persevered and worked hard to overcome these obstacles.\n\n- Stay motivated: Remind yourself why you started preparing for the exam in the first place.

• Seek help when needed: Don't be afraid to ask for help from your peers, teachers, or mentors.
• Take breaks: Make time for relaxation and self-care to avoid burnout.

Strategies\n\nTo succeed in the UPSC CSE, I employed several strategies, including:\n\n- Developing a strong foundation in General Studies: I focused on building a strong understanding of current events, history, and geography.

• Creating a study group: I joined a study group with my peers to discuss topics, share notes, and learn from each other.
• Practicing with mock tests: I took regular mock tests to assess my knowledge and identify areas for improvement.

Interview Experience\n\nThe interview experience was a mix of emotions for me. I was nervous but confident at the same time. The panel asked me a range of questions, from my optional subject to current events and policy issues.
