Background

I come from a humble background and Bengali medium schooling, which made my journey to securing AIR 601 in UPSC CSE 2022 even more remarkable. I was a classroom student of APTI PLUS Kolkata Branch in 2017-18, and it was during this time that I first interacted with the faculty and began my preparation for the exam.

Study Plan

My study plan was quite rigorous, with a focus on understanding the fundamentals of each subject. I would spend around 8-10 hours a day studying, with a mix of theory and practice questions. I also made sure to take regular breaks to avoid burnout and maintain my physical and mental health.

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges I faced during my preparation was time management. With a full-time job and other commitments, it was difficult to balance my studies with my other responsibilities. I had to be very disciplined and prioritize my tasks to ensure that I was making the most of my time.

Strategies

To overcome the challenge of time management, I developed a few strategies that helped me stay on track. Firstly, I created a schedule and stuck to it, allocating specific times for studying, working, and relaxing. Secondly, I made sure to take regular breaks to recharge and avoid burnout. Finally, I prioritized my tasks and focused on the most important ones first.

Interview Experience

The interview experience was a mix of emotions for me. I was nervous but also excited to share my story and experiences with the panel. The questions were tough, but I was well-prepared and was able to answer them confidently. The panel was impressed with my answers and my ability to think on my feet.

Success

Securing AIR 601 in UPSC CSE 2022 was a dream come true for me. It was the result of my hard work and dedication, and I was proud to have achieved it.
