Rathor Lakhansing's Preparation Strategy

Background

I come from a humble background, and education was always emphasized in my family. My parents encouraged me to work hard and pursue my dreams. I was fascinated by Sociology and its ability to understand human behavior and social structures. I knew that I wanted to make a career in this field and decided to focus on it.

Study Plan

To achieve my goal, I created a detailed study plan that included setting aside dedicated time for studying and reviewing. I made sure to cover all the topics thoroughly and practice previous years' questions. I also joined a study group to collaborate with my peers and learn from their experiences.

Challenges

However, I faced numerous challenges during my preparation. One of the biggest hurdles was time management. With a part-time job and other commitments, it was difficult to balance my studies and other responsibilities. I also struggled with self-doubt and lack of motivation at times. But I didn't give up and instead, I sought help from my mentors and friends.

Strategies

To overcome these challenges, I employed several strategies. Firstly, I prioritized my tasks and focused on the most important ones. I also created a schedule and stuck to it, making sure to leave some buffer time for unexpected events. Additionally, I practiced mindfulness and self-care to manage my stress levels.

Interview Experience

The interview experience was both exciting and nerve-wracking. I was well-prepared and confident, but I still had some jitters. The interviewers asked me a range of questions, from theoretical to practical, and I was able to answer them confidently. I remember one question in particular where I was asked to explain a complex concept in simple terms. I took a deep breath, composed myself, and delivered a clear and concise answer.

Success

Looking back, I realize that my success was not just about achieving a good rank, but also about the journey I undertook. I learned so much about myself and developed valuable skills that will benefit me in the long run. I'm grateful for the experience and the lessons I learned from it.
