Background

I come from a family that values education and hard work. My parents encouraged me to pursue my dreams and supported me throughout my journey. I was always fascinated by the Indian Administrative Service and wanted to serve the nation.

Study Plan

I started preparing for the UPSC exam after completing my engineering degree. I joined a coaching institute and followed a structured study plan. I focused on clearing my basics and building a strong foundation in all subjects. I also practiced previous year's question papers and mock tests to improve my time management and problem-solving skills.

Challenges

The biggest challenge I faced was balancing my studies with other activities. I had to work part-time to support myself and manage my time effectively. I also had to deal with self-doubt and negative thoughts, but I never gave up. I believed in myself and my abilities, and I kept pushing forward.

Strategies

I followed a strict study schedule and stuck to it. I also made a habit of reading newspapers and staying updated with current events. I practiced writing essays and answering questions under timed conditions. I also sought guidance from my mentors and peers, and I learned from their experiences.

Interview Experience

Success

Securing AIR 124 in the UPSC IAS 2023 exam was a dream come true. I felt proud and relieved, and I knew that all my hard work had paid off. I learned that perseverance and determination are key to success, and I will always cherish this experience.
