Vaibhav Rathore Preparation Strategy & Insights

Background

I started my UPSC journey with a clear goal in mind - to become an IAS officer. I had always been fascinated by the role of civil servants in shaping the country's future. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I was determined to give it my all.

Study Plan

I created a study plan that was tailored to my needs and goals. I divided my time into sections - one for statics, one for current affairs, and one for my optional subject, Economics. I made sure to allocate sufficient time for each section and stuck to my plan as much as possible.

Challenges

There were many challenges that I faced during my preparation. One of the biggest challenges was managing my time effectively. With a busy schedule, it was difficult to find time to study. I had to be very disciplined and make the most of the time I had.

Strategies

To overcome the challenges, I employed several strategies. I made sure to prioritize my tasks and focus on the most important ones first. I also made use of technology to my advantage - I used online resources and apps to help me stay organized and on track.

Interview Experience

The interview experience was a new and daunting challenge for me. I had never been interviewed before, and I wasn't sure what to expect. But I was well-prepared, and I made sure to answer all the questions confidently and to the best of my ability.

Success

Looking back, I realize that my success was not just about my hard work and dedication. It was also about my ability to stay motivated and focused throughout the journey. I faced many setbacks and failures, but I never gave up. I kept pushing forward, and eventually, I achieved my goal.
