I come from a humble background and have always been fascinated by the world of governance and public service. Growing up, I was exposed to the struggles of my community and the need for effective leadership. This sparked my interest in becoming a civil servant and making a positive impact on society.
My journey to becoming an IAS officer began with a solid foundation in academics. I pursued a degree in Psychology, which helped me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The road to becoming an IAS officer is never easy. I faced numerous challenges, from self-doubt and fear of failure to the pressure of meeting expectations. There were times when I felt like giving up, but I persevered and pushed through. Resilience was key to my success.
To overcome the challenges, I employed several strategies. I created a study schedule and stuck to it, making sure to allocate time for revision and practice. I also joined a study group, which provided a sense of camaraderie and motivation. I made it a point to stay updated with current events and news, which helped me stay focused and informed.
The interview experience was a nerve-wracking but exhilarating experience. I was prepared for the questions and was confident in my abilities. The panelists were friendly and approachable, and I was able to showcase my skills and knowledge. Confidence was key to acing the interview.
Securing Rank 150 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 was a dream come true. It was a culmination of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. I am proud to be an IAS officer and look forward to making a positive impact on society.
