I still remember the day I decided to take the UPSC CSE exam. It was a turning point in my life, and I was determined to make it happen. I had always been fascinated by the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and the impact it has on the country.
My study plan was quite rigorous, and I followed a strict schedule. I started by creating a detailed plan, covering all the topics and subjects. I then divided my time into three phases: the first phase was dedicated to understanding the basics, the second phase was focused on in-depth study, and the third phase was for revision and practice.
The journey was not easy, and I faced numerous challenges along the way. One of the biggest challenges was time management. With a full-time job and other responsibilities, it was difficult to balance my studies with my other commitments. Another challenge was staying motivated. There were times when I felt like giving up, but I kept pushing myself.
So, what worked for me? Consistency was key. I made sure to study every day, even if it was just for a few hours. I also made a habit of reviewing my notes regularly, which helped me retain the information better. Practice was another crucial aspect of my strategy. I practiced as many questions as I could, which helped me improve my problem-solving skills.
The interview was a nerve-wracking experience, but I was well-prepared. I had practiced my responses to common interview questions, and I was confident in my ability to think on my feet. The interview panel asked me a range of questions, from my background and interests to my views on current events.
Securing 590th rank in the UPSC CSE 2022 exam was a dream come true. It was a culmination of all my hard work and dedication. I am proud of what I have achieved, and I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams.
