AIR 437 • UPSC CSE 2022 • Optional: Sociology
I come from a small town in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the world of governance and the impact it has on people's lives. I knew from a young age that I wanted to make a difference, and IAS seemed like the perfect way to do it.
My journey to becoming an IAS officer began with a solid foundation in my basics. I cleared my graduation in Information Technology, which gave me a strong understanding of the subject. I then started preparing for the UPSC CSE, and I must say it was a steep learning curve. I had to work hard to grasp the concepts and develop a study plan that worked for me.
The biggest challenge I faced was balancing my studies with other aspects of life. As a student, I had to juggle classes, assignments, and extracurricular activities while also preparing for the UPSC CSE. It was exhausting, but I managed to stay focused and motivated.
I used a combination of online and offline resources to prepare for the UPSC CSE. I attended coaching classes, joined online forums, and read books on the subject. I also practiced writing answers and solving mock tests to improve my skills.
The interview was a nerve-wracking experience, but I was well-prepared. I had practiced answering questions and developing my communication skills. I was confident and articulate, and I felt like I had done justice to my answers.
Securing All India Rank 437 in the UPSC CSE 2022 was a dream come true. It was a culmination of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. I am proud of myself and my achievements, and I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams.
