Background

I've always been fascinated by the world of politics and international relations. Growing up, I was an avid reader of news and current events, and I knew from a young age that I wanted to make a career out of it. I pursued a degree in Political Science and International Relations, which gave me a solid foundation in the subject matter.

Study Plan

My study plan was rigorous and well-structured. I created a detailed schedule that covered all the topics I needed to study, and I stuck to it as closely as possible. I also made sure to review and revise regularly, which helped me to retain the information better. Consistency was key to my success.

Challenges

There were several challenges that I faced during my preparation. One of the biggest hurdles was time management. With a full-time job and other commitments, it was difficult to find the time to study. I had to be disciplined and prioritize my tasks accordingly. Another challenge was staying motivated. There were times when I felt like giving up, but I reminded myself of my goals and why I was doing this in the first place.

Strategies

To overcome the challenges I faced, I employed several strategies. One of the most important was self-study. I made sure to read and research as much as possible, and I also joined online forums and discussion groups to stay connected with other aspirants. I also practiced mock interviews, which helped me to build my confidence and improve my communication skills.

Interview Experience

The interview experience was nerve-wracking, but it was also an opportunity to showcase my skills and knowledge. I was well-prepared and confident, which helped me to perform to the best of my ability. The panel was professional and courteous, and they asked me a range of questions that tested my knowledge and critical thinking skills.

Success

Securing 88th rank in the UPSC CSE exam was a dream come true. It was a culmination of all my hard work and dedication, and it was a testament to my perseverance and determination. I'm proud of what I've achieved, and I'm excited to see what the future holds.
