AIR 341 • UPSC CSE 2023 • Optional: Economics
I come from a family of modest means, and my parents always encouraged me to pursue my dreams. I was born and brought up in a small town in India, where I completed my schooling. After completing my graduation, I decided to take the UPSC exam, as I was fascinated by the idea of serving the nation.
I started preparing for the exam about a year and a half before the actual date. I created a study plan that included a mix of theory and practice. I focused on understanding the concepts and then practiced solving questions. I also made sure to revise my notes regularly.
The biggest challenge I faced was managing my time effectively. With so much to study, it was easy to get overwhelmed. I had to prioritize my tasks and make sure I was allocating enough time for each subject. Another challenge I faced was dealing with self-doubt. There were times when I felt like giving up, but I pushed through and reminded myself of my goals.
One of the key strategies I used was making a habit of reading newspapers and magazines. This helped me stay updated with current events and also improved my vocabulary. I also made sure to practice solving previous year's questions, as this helped me understand the pattern of the exam.
The interview was a nerve-wracking experience, but I was well-prepared. I made sure to research the panelists and prepared my responses accordingly. I was asked a mix of questions, ranging from current events to my personal experiences. I was able to answer most of the questions confidently, and I felt proud of myself.
Securing All India Rank 341 was a dream come true for me. It was a culmination of all my hard work and dedication. I feel proud to be a part of the civil services, and I am excited to serve the nation.
**Key Points:
My journey to securing All India Rank 341 was not easy, but it was worth it. I learned a lot from my experiences, and I am excited to share my knowledge with others. If you are aspiring to join the civil services, I would say go for it. It's a challenging journey, but the rewards are worth it.
