Study Plan
My journey to the UPSC began with a clear goal in mind - to crack the exam and become a civil servant. I started by creating a study plan that catered to my needs and schedule. I divided my time into sections, allocating specific hours for each subject. I also made sure to include regular breaks to avoid burnout.
Challenges
The journey was not without its challenges. I faced setbacks and failures, but I never gave up. I learned from my mistakes and used them as an opportunity to improve. One of the biggest challenges I faced was time management. With a busy schedule, it was difficult to balance work and studies. However, I managed to stay focused and prioritize my tasks.
Strategies
To overcome the challenges, I employed several strategies. I created a habit of reading newspapers and staying updated on current events. I also made sure to revise my notes regularly and practice with sample questions. I joined a study group to stay motivated and learn from others.
Interview Experience
The interview experience was a mix of emotions - excitement, nervousness, and anticipation. I was well-prepared, but I still had my doubts. However, as soon as the interview began, I felt more confident. The panel asked me a range of questions, from my motivation for joining the civil services to my views on current issues. I answered each question to the best of my ability, drawing from my knowledge and experiences.
