I come from a small town in Jharkhand, where opportunities are limited. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and its impact on society. I knew that I wanted to be an IAS officer, but I wasn't sure how to get there.
My journey to becoming a UPSC topper began with a clear study plan. I created a schedule that allowed me to cover all the subjects in a systematic manner. I started by making a list of all the topics that I needed to cover and then broke them down into smaller chunks. I allocated specific time slots for each subject and stuck to it.
The biggest challenge I faced was managing my time effectively. With a busy schedule, it was easy to get distracted and lose focus. I had to learn to prioritize my tasks and stay motivated.
To overcome the challenges, I employed several strategies. I started by creating a study group with my friends, which helped me stay motivated and accountable. I also made sure to take regular breaks to avoid burnout.
The interview was a nerve-wracking experience, but I was well-prepared. I had practiced answering common interview questions and had a clear understanding of my strengths and weaknesses.
My hard work and dedication paid off when I secured Rank 410 in the UPSC CSE 2023. It was a moment of immense pride and joy, and I was grateful for the opportunity to serve the nation.
It's not just about the marks, it's about the journey.
