I come from a humble background, and my family has always encouraged me to pursue my dreams. Growing up, I was fascinated by current events and politics, which led me to develop a strong interest in PSIR. I pursued a degree in Political Science and International Relations, which helped me develop a strong foundation in the subject.
My study plan was quite rigorous, and I followed a structured approach to my preparation. I started by creating a detailed study schedule, which helped me stay on track and make the most of my time. I divided my study material into smaller chunks and focused on one topic at a time. I also made sure to revise my notes regularly and practice as many questions as possible.
One of the biggest challenges I faced during my preparation was staying motivated. There were times when I felt like giving up, but I kept reminding myself of my goals and why I was working so hard. I also faced challenges in terms of time management, as I had to balance my studies with other responsibilities. However, I was determined to succeed, and I worked hard to overcome these challenges.
My strategy for the exam was to focus on building a strong foundation in PSIR. I read a lot of books and articles on the subject, and I made sure to stay up-to-date with current events. I also practiced as many questions as possible, which helped me develop a strong understanding of the subject. I made sure to revise my notes regularly and focus on my weak areas.
My interview experience was quite challenging, but it was also an opportunity for me to showcase my skills and knowledge. I was asked a range of questions, from current events to theoretical concepts. I made sure to answer each question confidently and clearly, and I highlighted my strengths and weaknesses. I also made sure to ask questions and engage with the panel, which helped me build a rapport with them.
Securing 496th rank in the 2023 UPSC CSE exam was a dream come true for me. It was a result of my hard work and determination, and I was proud of myself for achieving my goal. I learned a lot from my experience, and I would like to share some key points with you:
