Preparation Strategy
Background
I come from a humble background, and my parents always encouraged me to pursue my dreams. I was born and brought up in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and my early education was from local schools. I was always fascinated by science and mathematics, and I decided to pursue a career in engineering.
Study Plan
I completed my engineering from IIT, Bombay, and then I started preparing for the UPSC CSE exam. I had a clear study plan, which included a thorough understanding of the syllabus, a well-structured time table, and a consistent approach to revision. I also made sure to take breaks and engage in physical activities to maintain my physical and mental health.
Challenges
The biggest challenge I faced during my preparation was the vastness of the syllabus and the limited time available. I had to manage my time effectively and prioritize my studies. I also had to deal with self-doubt and anxiety, which were common during the preparation phase.
Strategies
I used a combination of online and offline resources for my preparation. I relied heavily on NCERT books, standard textbooks, and online study materials.
