AIR 457 • UPSC CSE 2023 • Optional: Philosophy
I come from a humble background, and my father is a taxi driver. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the world of governance and administration. I pursued my passion for studying and secured an M.Tech degree from IIT Dhanbad. However, I didn't stop there. I knew that I wanted to make a career in the civil services, and I was determined to crack the UPSC exams.
My study plan was quite rigorous. I started preparing for the UPSC exams about 2 years before the actual exams. I began by creating a detailed study schedule, which included a mix of theory and practice. I focused on my weak areas and worked on improving my time management skills. I also joined a test series to get a feel of the actual exam.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was balancing my studies with my daily routine. As a working professional, I had to juggle my job with my studies, which was quite exhausting. I also faced a lot of self-doubt and anxiety, especially during the initial stages of my preparation. However, I never gave up and kept pushing myself to work harder.
